A unique concept in eyewear fashions has hit the San Gabriel Valley.
Opening last week to rave reviews, Jins offers Japanese-designed frames in 30 minutes and, most importantly, one price covers the whole deal …
The ultra-modern store is located on the second floor of Westfield Santa Anita Shopping Mall and boasts hundreds of unique frames from which to choose.
Councilman Sho Tay was on hand for the grand opening celebration last Thursday evening and said he was delighted to see such a concept come to Arcadia.
If you don’t have a current prescription for your glasses, they offer an in-house eye exam for $55, approximately one-third of the traditional price of similar examinations and prescriptions.
Jins started with a big vision: Hitoshi Tanaka, founder, was passionate about making eyewear from the beginning, which is why he started the business, despite having “impeccable eyesight.”
Jins is about making eyewear for everyone, whether that means making glasses easier and more fun, more innovative, or more affordable.
Here’s the concept: they start at only $60, complete with lenses and frame.
All their lenses are aspheric, impact-resistant, and light-weight. They’re 1.59 and 1.67 index, which means you can have thin lenses, regardless of your prescription.
The lenses themselves are made by some of the leading manufacturers in the world who also provide lenses for the photo industry, like the HOYA Group.
Every pair is made using superior materials. All metal frame parts are sourced exclusively from Japan and everything from the nose-pads to the temple ends are meticulously checked for quality.
Jins is located at 400 S. Baldwin Ave. #231, near Nordstrom, across from Din Tai Fung.
