Two weeks ago, the Monrovia Police Department (MPD) and Monrovia Fire (MFD) competed in a series of friendly games with the Monrovia High School girls’ volleyball squad.
The action took place in the main gym with both MPD and MFD dressing up the part with vintage clothing. It was quite a sight to behold, according to witnesses of the historic event.
In the end, everyone had fun but Monrovia PD was ultimately victorious from a point standing.
All the proceeds from the event benefit the girls’ volleyball program at Monrovia High.
