The Friends of the Library Book Sale is set for Sept. 9 and 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
Most of the hardback books are only $2 (a few of the larger ones are priced at $5). Most paperbacks are only 50 cents, with trade paperbacks going for $2. Children’s books are a real bargain at 25 cents. Movies and CDs are $2.
Of course, at the end of the sale, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday, there will be the Bag of Books Bargain sale. During this time, shoppers can fill a normal grocery-sized bag of books for only $5.
As always, proceeds from the sale go towards supporting the work of the library through financial contributions that help build up the collections of materials available at the library and that enhance literacy activities.
