Nestlé, Boys & Girls Clubs and Olympic Athletes Educate Children on Fitness in Honor of Company’s 150th Anniversary
The Nestlé and Boys & Girls Clubs of America are hosting a “gold medal” themed National Fitness Competition at the Rose Bowl Stadium (1001 Rose Bowl Drive) on Thursday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will bring together Nestlé volunteers and more than 200 youth from local clubs in Pasadena, Burbank, Venice, and Long Beach to inspire kids and teens to achieve tangible and short-term fitness goals.
In keeping with the spirit of the Summer Olympics, renowned Olympic champions and track and field athletes Jackie Joyner-Kersee and Gail Devers, both proud alumnae of the Boys & Girls Clubs, are joining the event to help educate and encourage local kids and teens to live a life of health and wellness.
