The LA Zoo is back at it again with the tunes and are kicking off their annual summer music series, Roaring Nights, on June 24th in the most nostalgic manner. Featuring live music from the cover band “Saved by the 90’s,” expect to sing and dance your heart out to classic jams by BackStreet Boys, Goo Goo Dolls, Smash Mouth, Weezer, Blink-182 and Alanis Morissette. If by some miraculous reason Pop-punk was never your thing (who what are you?!?) there will also be a Hip hop lounge fully equipped with a Dj spinning all the Lil Kim and Tupac you can possibly handle. A Jurassic Park themed Jeep will also be present for all attendee’s to live out their childhood fantasies via Snapchat video’s and Instagram pics. So dust off that windbreaker and borrow your mom’s scrunchies, the cool kids will all be in attendance.

Roaring Nights will have monthly events from June to September, all focusing on different themes as well as a tribute to the late David Bowie and Prince. Each event will include Food Trucks, Full-Service Bars, Game Zones, Pop-Up Zookeeper Talks, Animal Feedings and Visits to Special Dinosaurs: Unextinct at the L.A. Zoo Exhibit.
