My memories of summer vacation always include the reading program at Monrovia Public Library.
It is time to sign up for this summer’s program that is open to all ages from babies, to children, to adults.
The program will officially start with a kick-off celebration on June 13 and will run through July 30. The program will include a coordinated reading program, with bookmarks, prizes, and drawings for cool gear.
The library staff will host the kick-off event on Thursday, June 16, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Station Square Park and will feature Fantastick Patrick, the one Man Circus Band! The performance promises to be filled with laughs, juggling, music, a 10-foot high unicycle, and other “fantastic” tricks.
Make sure you swing by for the fun and festivities!
Registration can be done in-person, at the library, or online at: www.cityofmonrovia.org/library.
