After a thorough and competitive recruitment process, Jeremy Sanchez has been selected as Monrovia’s newest Fire Division Chief. During the assessment process, Jeremy not only demonstrated an aptitude for all of the technical qualifications needed to serve in the division chief role, he also demonstrated a commitment to our organizational values, and we are confident that Jeremy will serve as a tremendous leader for both the fire department and for the city.
Jeremy is currently transitioning out of his current assignments and into his new role as the A-shift Division Chief. In that capacity, he will be overseeing emergency preparedness, policies, technology, volunteer services, and brush clearance.
