The Monrovia Police Department held its Annual Awards Ceremony in the Monrovia City Council Chambers on Thursday, March 24. The individuals recognized with the award of a distinguished service medal included: Officer David Andrew City Manager’s Update Officer Brian Cofield Officer John Donchig School Resource Officer James Ruano Police Services Representative Evelyn Ruedas .

Chief Jim Hunt presented each officer with the DSM (distinguished service medal) and a beautifully framed description of why each was so honored.
A reception followed immediately in the Police Department Community Policing Room.
