

The Arcadia City Clerk’s office is currently accepting applications from individuals who would like to serve on the Youth Advisory Council. The Youth Advisory Council consists of seven members appointed by the city council. Of the seven members, four must be current high school students and three middle school students at the time of appointment. All members must be under the age of 18 at the time of appointment and reside in the City of Arcadia. The Youth Advisory Council will act in an advisory capacity to the city council on matters pertaining to the youth population of the community. All Arcadia boards and commissions serve without compensation.
Anyone with an interest in serving may pick up an application from the city clerk’s office, 240 W. Huntington Drive, or print one off the city’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov. Applications must be submitted to the city clerk’s office on or before the close of business on Monday, May 23, 2016. Appointments are expected to be made at the Tuesday, June 21, city council meeting.
