The world lost an elegant and beautiful lady on Jan. 23, 2016, at the age of 89. She has joined her parents, Emmett and Lila Bills, and her sister, Betty Lawrence Cerinich, in heaven. Born in Biloxi, Mississippi, she moved to Arcadia in 1961. She is survived by her loving husband, John, her six devoted children, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her caregivers and friends. Besides caring for her husband and family, she had been active in the Arcadia Women’s Club, volunteered at the LA County Arboretum, and was a member of the Holy Angels Altar Society. She touched the lives of everyone she met and will be missed forever. She was laid to rest on Jan. 29th.
