A 23-year-old man suffered a head injury and two broken wrists after his motorcycle hit a sport utility vehicle Tuesday about 10:45 a.m., Arcadia police said.
A Toyota 4Runner traveling westbound on Genoa Street was trying to make a left on Santa Anita Avenue when it was met by a motorcyclist heading north on Santa Anita Avenue.
The rider fell off the motorcycle.
The Arcadia woman driving the SUV and her passenger, her 12-year-old granddaughter, were uninjured.
