Arcadia Senior Services is having California Telephone Access Program (CTAP) at the Arcadia Community Center, 365 Campus Drive, Arcadia on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. If you are hearing or seeing impaired, this program of the California Public Utilities Commission Deaf and Disabled has special telecommunication devices for you. There are a variety of different telephones; amplified, big buttons, speech assist, picture dial, and portable. An audiologist will be providing hearing screenings. If the audiologist finds you to have a hearing impairment you can select a special phone to help you on the same day. If interested in this free service, please call Arcadia Community Center (626) 574-5130 before Nov. 10. There are limited appointments available. This event is for individuals age 50 and over.
