

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives responded to the 19800 block of East Golden Bough Drive in the unincorporated city of Covina, regarding the shooting death investigation of a male adult in his 40s.
On Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, at approximately 2:28 a.m., Walnut Station deputies responded to the 19800 block of East Golden Bough Drive in the unincorporated city of Covina, after receiving a 9-1-1 call of a family disturbance. When the deputies arrived, they discovered the homeowner, a man in his 70s, had shot and killed his live-in son.
Homicide detectives have learned the father shot his son after the son forcibly broke into the residence through a large glass door.
The name of the victim and suspect will not be released at this time.
The investigation is still on-going and there is no further information available.
