PERB – Public Employment Relations Board -ruled yesterday that PCC must pay faculty for wrongly removing the Winter Intersession. Two of the staunch supporters of “ignoring the Academic Calendar Committee’s recommendations [were] both Dr. Rocha and Dr. Robert Miller,” according to a faculty member.
“Another instance of these two costing the college dearly yet holding on to their ranks [Rocha’s paid ‘retirement’ and Miller returning to title of Assistant Superintendent while drawing the same salary as the new President Dr. Vurdien]…” according to another faculty source inside the college. “Dr. Miller being stubborn has cost the college too much money. We faculty rejoice in this decision and hope Dr. Vurdien makes Dr. Miller pay for his many wrong decisions which were adverse to faculty and students.”
