Shortly before 10 a.m. on Wednesday July 29, 2015, Arcadia Police Officers were dispatched to a non-injury traffic collision in the 100 block of East Foothill Boulevard. A vehicle struck, and broke the glass door of a business. There was no structural damage to the building and nobody was injured.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the driver was parking her vehicle when she accidentally pushed the accelerator rather than the brake. The driver was cooperative, and she did not appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The driver was a 53-year-old resident of San Gabriel. No citations were issued to her.

Anyone with additional information on this incident is encouraged to contact the Arcadia Police Department at (626) 574-5151. The case number is 1503724.
