Arcadia hosted the Trinidad and Tobago and Kyrgyzstan Special Olympics teams from July 21-24 before the games kick off on July 25, 2015 in Los Angeles. The city is one of 100 communities selected by the Host Town program to house over 7,000 athletes from 177 countries competing in the 2015 Special Olympics.
