

Information and Registration Event July 27 at Rose City High School
The Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) invites parents and other adults to attend an Adult Education information and registration event Monday, July 27, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. at Rose City High School. At this event, PUSD parents and other adults can register for classes in Spanish Literacy and certificate courses in Family Home Child Care, Developing a Business and other topics. Bilingual classes are taught by Pasadena City College (PCC) instructors and are part of the PUSD/PCC Pasadena Area Consortium funded by AB 86 to provide academic and workforce training skills to adult learners. Classes begin the last week of August.
“These classes offer an opportunity for parents and adults to enhance their skills while building a culture of learning in our neighborhoods and communities that benefits our students,” said PUSD Chief Academic Officer Shawn Bird, Ed.D.
The event will take place at Rose City High School in Room 129, located at 351 S. Hudson Ave., Pasadena. Refreshments will be served.
