Kanye West has teamed up with Steve McQueen to create “All Day / I Feel Like That”, a short film that premieres at LACMA this Saturday, July 25th and runs until the 28th. It’s been one of the rapper’s goals to work with McQueen and all his visionary glory—the director’s name became way popular after his work on Oscar-winning, “12 Years A Slave,” but it’s no stranger to LACMA—the highly acclaimed artist is a part of the museum’s collection with his 2009 visual piece, “Static.”
The exhibition will be the American debut of the film which was premiered at the Foundation Louis Vuitton in France earlier this year. The nine-minute piece was shot in one take and features Kanye’s performing his hit “All Day” as well as another unreleased track off of his highly anticipated forthcoming album, SWISH.
A clip captured by a fan of the French premiere of the film is currently circulating online, but why spoil an excuse to take a trip to LACMA and see it for yourself? Purchase a day pass to LACMA to view the film, and explore all of the museum’s treasures.
