In the adventurous mood? Head down to Salt & Straw on Larchmont Blvd to try some of their amazing, flavorful and offbeat ice cream flavors. You’ll find everything from Strawberry Honey Balsamic with Black Pepper to Almond Brittle with Salted Ganache and much more. If you’re stuck on gift ideas, cause at least one of your BFFs have a summer birthday—and no doubt, a sweet tooth—they have pints for sale, t-shirts, bags of coffee beans, and catchy merchandise available while you pick out which flavor you’re going to get, devour.
Good news: Salt & Straw may be opening a new location westward, most likely in Venice. While the busy shop in Larchmont has done nicely—hundreds of scoops per day muscle up—be on the lookout for the sweet shop in bustling Abbott Kinney one of these fine days.
