A new Southeast Asian kitchen and bar just opened up shop in Little Tokyo. They are currently only open for dinner, but it’s set to be one of the most talked about new restaurants hitting Los Angeles this summer. Enter Simbal, set amidst the cityscape of DTLA.
Helmed by chef Shawn Pham, modern heritage cooking will tickle your palette: small plates for mixing and matching, dim-sum style carts traveling the dining room, and a peek inside the kitchen for a gulp of inspiration.
