In Memoriam: Sharon Elizabeth (Maag) Dryden 1933-2015

Sharon Elizabeth (Maag) Dryden, daughter of Ted and Clara (Ferguson) Maag, was born on November 3, 1933 in Monrovia, California. Sharon passed away on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015 at the age of 81 years old.

Sharon was raised and attended school in Monrovia her entire life. On May 19, 1957, Sharon was united in marriage to Marvin C. Dryden, and Sharon and Marvin continued to live in Monrovia for the rest of their wedded lives. Sharon worked doing general office duties until the age of 50.

Sharon began her relationship with our Lord Jesus at a very young age. She became a devoted and faithful member of the United Pentecostal Church from 1968 to 2015.

Sharon is survived by her brother, LeRoy, and sister-in-law, Jan Maag, of Sacramento, California; brother, Richard Maag, and sister-in-law, Linda Maag, of Valley Center, California; 9 nephews and nieces; 20 great nephews and nieces; and her beloved dog, “JD” Joe Dirt.

A service was held Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Life Church, Monrovia.
