Reader Praises Coverage

Dear Editor:

I am a long time Pasadena resident and have enjoyed the Pasadena Independent. With more and more people getting their news from the internet, newspapers’ survival has concerned me. It is encouraging to see Pasadena Independent tackle this by continuing to add to its local coverage, which hopefully increases local advertising and readership. To that end, it was refreshing to read the two recent articles by May Ruiz, especially the one about applying to college. Having a child who just finished going through this process, it would have been helpful to me to have more articles like Ms. Ruiz’s. Keep it up Pasadena Independent!
