The Lancers came out tenacious on defense forcing turnover after turnover which led to a 23-5 score after one. All Lancers contributed with some impressive shooting turned in by Sean Espinosa, Michael Torres, and Micheal Amerio. Justin Jitputima looked as quick as he quarterbacked the Lancers. Javon Burnom and Johnny Knox could not be stopped going to the basket. Jaice Gardner and Isiah Spencer-Lopez owned the boards. Sophomore Jordan Gonzalez also played a solid all around game as did Patrick Quadra and Tyler Rix. This team is playing with a new found passion on defense. The ball movement and unselfish play is noticable and has turned the season around for the Lancers.
