Airport holds Air Fair, Sunday Nov. 16
El Monte Airport now known as San Gabriel Valley Airport
San Gabriel Valley Airport, formally known as the El Monte Airport will be hosting an air faire November 16 .
A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony dignitaries such as Gloria Molina along with city officials from the 30 cities of the San Gabriel Valley will be held at noon. Among other planes at the airport will be Gabe Lopez’ classic 1940 Stearman biplane from WWII. Lopez, we unofficially call the Mayor of San Gabriel Valley Airport will have his other planes on display tooy. It’ll be great fun for all the family members of all ages.
