South Pasadena Police arrest man for threatening to stab two people with a knife

Kyle Franco, a 25 year-old South Pasadena resident was arrested in the 200 block of Monterey Rd. Tuesday for Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Brandishing a Deadly Weapon, Criminal Threats, and Disturbing the Peace after he approached two different adult victims and threatened to stab them with a knife after they were unable to give Franco a cigarette. Both victims were in fear for their lives as Franco waived the knife in a threatening manner. Franco discarded the knife before police arrived, but officers located it nearby.
