Register now to walk in remembrance and celebration on October 1

The City of Temple City invites community members of all ages to participate in its inaugural Breast Cancer Walk on Wednesday, October 1 from 3-6 p.m. at Live Oak Park (10144 Bogue St.).
The event kicks off October as Breast Cancer Awareness month, and features a walk around Live Oak Park in remembrance of those diagnosed with the disease. Participants can also take part in programs and discussions to learn more about breast cancer, its prevention and detection.
There is no cost to participate and the first 60 to register at Live Oak Annex by Monday, Sept. 15 will receive a free gift. Check-in on the day of the event begins at 2:30 p.m., with the walk beginning at 3 p.m.
