LA County Fire has responded to a vegetation fire at the Lario Park entrance or the river bed in Azusa directly across from Duarte’s Encanto Park. L.A. County Fire reports that this fire is now contained.
Helicopters are landing at Encanto Park to fill them with water and traffic is affected on Huntington Drive and Encanto Parkway.
Eastbound Huntington Drive is closed at Las Lomas Road please avoid these locations to aid in this effort and subdue traffic. Huntington Drive is anticipated to open before 5:30 pm.
