The Annual Fountain to the Falls race was held in Monrovia on Saturday morning (before the heat set in).  The first to cross the finish line was Michael Flowers, 26, of Porter Ranch with a time of 44 minutes 11.19 seconds.  The first Monrovian across the line was Chris Dattola, 29, with at 45 minutes 29.5 seconds in third place.  The first woman finisher was Katelyn Breitschwerdt, 17, of  Monrovia (48 minutes 2.49 seconds) in 6thplace.
One of the interesting things about the top 5 finishers, two were over 40 and the fifth was only 12.  Below is the list of the first 25 to finish the race and their respective times.  A complete list is available at the city’s website: http://www.cityofmonrovia.org/recreation/page/fountain-falls-7-mile-runwalk

1  Flowers, Michael M26 Porter Ranch 44:11.19

2  Butala, Mark M45 Huntington Beach 45:00.20

3  Dattola, Chris M29 Monrovia 45:29.50
