

In observance of Heart Health Month, Methodist Hospital and Arcadia Senior Services will sponsor a special health event, “Affair of the Heart” Friday, February 7, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Arcadia Community Center, 365 Campus Drive.
Guest speaker Michael Cao, MD, board-certified cardiovascular disease specialist, will discuss types of heart disease, ways to reduce your risk of getting heart disease, the latest diagnostic methods available and advances in the treatment of irregular heart rhythm. A variety of informative health screenings and informational tables also will be available 10 a.m. to noon, including blood pressure, body mass index, Ask a Dietitian, Ask a Pharmacist (courtesy of Walgreens on Foothill, Arcadia) and many more.
There will be light refreshments and raffle prizes. Lunch will be available 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. for $2. Please call the Arcadia Community Center today at 626-574-5130 for reservations.
