

Arcadia Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle into a structure in the 00 block of Tunas Drive on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.,. Engine 105, Engine 107, Truck 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, Rescue Ambulance 106, and Battalion 105 responded to the scene.
Suppression personnel reported a passenger van had crashed through the front window of the Arcadia Adult Day Health Care Center injuring several patrons. Arcadia Firefighters and Paramedics evacuated approximately 30 people from the building and assessed the injured parties. Four elderly females, who were inside the Center at the time of the incident, sustained minor injuries and were treated on scene and transported to Arcadia Methodist Hospital for additional care. The driver of the van, which was owned and operated by the Center, refused further treatment or transport.
The Arcadia City Building Official and Fire Prevention Personnel arrived on scene to assess the safety and integrity of the structure, which was evacuated. Arcadia police are investigating.
