

This year’s White Horse Award will be held in conjunction with Breeders’ Cup World Championships and presented at Race Track Chaplaincy of America’s (RTCA) White Horse Award Luncheon to be held on October 31, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. in Seabiscuit Court, Santa Anita Park, Arcadia.
Barry Irwin of Team Valor International, owner of Animal Kingdom, winner of the 2011 Kentucky Derby, will be this year’s guest speaker. The highlight of the event will be the presentation of the White Horse Award presented to a person in any facet of horse racing who has performed a heroic act on behalf of human or horse. Both a Tribute of Excellence and Community Service Award will also be presented. A silent auction, great food, and fellowship will be enjoyed by all.
The White Horse Award is presented annually to an individual serving in any faucet of the horse racing industry who has done something heroic on behalf of human or horse in the prior 12 months. Nomination forms are available online at www.rtcanational.org/white-horse.
