The latest collaboration between ultra-stylist and editor Leith Clark of Lula Magazine and Melissa Coker of LA brand Wren is a match made in dreamy, girly-fashion heaven. Both known for championing 60s-styled printed frocks and whimsical accessories in their work, it was only fate when Coker finally approached Clark to take the reigns on their new capsule “collection.
Usually the mention of an at-home photoshoot between Hollywood couples features scandy, intimate photos, but Wren’s lookbook is one couple shoot no one’s afraid to publish. The collection’s look book features long-time Lula cover girl and friend of Leith Clark, Kirsten Dunst, photographed by her beau Garrett Hedlund in her LA home on Fuji Instax.
This isn’t the designer and stylist’s first collaboration, having styled Tavi Gevinson for their short film “BEWARE OF YOUNG GIRLS,” and worked with director Gia Coppola in “WHAT’S UP” for Wren’s Spring and Fall 2012 collections.
The capsule collection features Mercedes Helnwein and Fanny Gentle‘s illustrated prints on ultra-femme frocks, blouses, skirts, and coats.
