

It was a great Patio Party, hosed by The Friends of the Arcadia Museum and the Museum Foundation and charired by Joyce Platt. Held on the Museum Patio june 26th. City Staff was invited and community leaders who have ties to the museum.
The patio was a sea of yellow and royal blue with beautiful yellow roses on each table, the menu was fresh fruit platters, Italian pasta salad, a selection of croissant sandwiches, and fabulous cakes, chocolate with strawberry and whipped cream filling and carrot cake with cream cheese, ice tea and coffee.
The honoree Dana Hicks Dunn received her Doctorate Degree on June 16th. Mary Beth Hayes, director of the Library and Museum,spoke of the difficult time Ms. Dunn had as a single mother working and doing internships while always climbing higher academically.
City Manager Dominic Lazzaretto, added his congratulations. Dunn spoke briefly of her experiences and thanked everyone for honoring her.
