

Pasadena City College will be hosting its first annual Veteran’s Golf Classic on Nov. 2 at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena. Proceeds from the event will benefit returning PCC veterans with scholarships and services.
The tournament is a scramble format with four players per team. The day starts with registration at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at noon. A silent auction will be held at 5:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Dinner-only tickets will be available at the door.
Registration for a foursome is $600, but reservations made before Sept. 2 receive a $100 discount. Fees include cart, range balls, green fee,dinner, and beverage tickets.
The Veterans’ Resource Center (VRC) opened in Fall 2010 to address the needs of PCC veterans. PCC was voted a “Veteran-Friendly School” by G.I. Jobs, a website that provides career and educational resources for veterans. For more information about the tournament, please call (626) 585-7888.
