

Santa Anita Park will host the 2012 San Gabriel Valley Boy Scout/Youth Expo on Saturday, June 2 in the track’s spacious infield area from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free of charge and parking is $5.00.
The Boy Scout/Youth Expo is traditionally a day of fun for the entire family and activities will include:
Pinewood Derby Car Races, A Rope Bridge, Climbing, Fishing, Marbles, Bowling, Woodworking, Golf Lessons, Fitness Course, Forestry, Soccer Village, Rocketry, Cooking Samples, Tool Use and Safety, Electronics, Water Conservation, Geology, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) driven activities
“This is always a wonderful day for us,” said Santa Anita Director of Community Services & Special Projects Pete Siberell. “The public is invited and we’re going to have a large playground area. Folks can bring a lunch or buy one here at the Expo. The Boy Scouts mean a great deal to our community and we’re proud to once again be able to host this great event.”
