Pasadena PD Arrest Four People in Connection with King King’s Death Wednesday Morning

In the early morning hours of September 21, 2011, a male, later identified as King King, 43 years of age and a Pasadena resident, was found dead behind the businesses in the 900 block of E. Washington Blvd. During the course of the investigation, homicide detectives detained four individuals nearby. At 7:45 p.m., Pasadena Police Detectives arrested the suspects for homicide. The suspects are identified as:
Wesley, Devon (M/Blk-22) Los Angeles Resident
King, Sabrina (F/Blk-18) Compton Resident (Not related to victim-King)
Mayes, Alfred (M/Blk-22) Pasadena Resident
McGowan, Michelle (F/Blk-23) Pasadena Resident
“This case was well supervised and underscores the dedication and professionalism of investigating detectives, officers and civilian personnel who are responsible for maintaining public safety. As with other critical investigations the Pasadena Police Department is committed to the relentless pursuit of criminals,” said Chief Sanchez.
Each suspect is being held for murder with $1,000,000.00 bail. The case will be presented to the District Attorney’s Office on September 23, 2011.
