

Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the death of a woman, Renata Klein, whose body was located June 15, 2011, in the Angeles National Forest.
Detectives have learned that, on the morning of Sunday, June 26, 2011, a citizen reported a suspicious vehicle parked behind an abandoned building in the 2700 block of East Lake Mead Boulevard, North Las Vegas, Nevada. North Las Vegas Police Department personnel responded to the area and discovered the vehicle was the Kleins’ missing Jeep. North Las Vegas Police notified the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau and detective personnel responded.
Homicide Bureau detectives confirmed the Jeep was the Kleins’ vehicle, impounded it as evidence in the investigation, and arranged for it to be towed back to Los Angeles County.
Renata’s husband, Dusan Klein, and the family dog, Cindy, are still missing.
