

Board of Supervisors Meeting Not Encouraging for Arcadia’s 11 Acres of Woodland
Cutting down 11 Acres of Pristine Eco System in Arcadia could begin Wednesday –
Litigation is Planned
Scores of concerned citizens showed up Tuesday morning at the Board of Supervisors in Los Angeles. Supervisor Antonovich was apparently not moved by any of the empassioned public comments on the fate of the 11acres in Arcadia. Residents were hoping to save hundreds of old oaks and sycamores whose fate may have already been sealed by Public Works.. Antonovitich asked the Public Works Department to answer the comments .PW said their report of last Thursday already adressed all those comments and concerns.
